This is my first splash outside of CJS and I’m proud of it. Thanks to happy chance, I ended up being the only reporter on the scene for the Western Daily Press as details emerged on April 25.
In truth, I was close to feeling in over my head at points. The unwritten rules of police cordons take some getting used to.
I think I did a good job for the paper in the end and the editors seemed to agree. I wouldn’t hestitate to jump on a story like this in the future.
